I know you all are either thinking, "Oh wow, this is awesome!" OR "My goodness, these two are CRAZY!" Either way, we'll take it! It's most definitely going to be a ride of fun filled yumminess and possible disasters along the way!
Well, before we get to cookin, you probably are wondering who in the world are these two "chicks" and why would they want to do something like this.... So all of your questions will be answered! And if they're not, feel free to leave us a comment and we'll make sure we answer them!
To Begin- **Our Geographical locations!**
Lynnette: Good ol' State of TEXAS!
Stacy: Pinehurst, North CarolinaNow Im sure the thought, how are they going to make this work thousand of miles apart, different time zones, AND different kitchens, popped in your head... Ill let you in on a little secret we have....
Oh Skype, how I love you!
We skype about recipes and possible meals! We try to use recipes that are going to be easy and cost efficient! We talk about what we have stocked in our fridges and pantries and then try to find recipes with the ingredients we have on hand.
Not to mention, I (Stacy) jsut moved to NC a couple of weeks ago and what better way to stay in touch with good friends then this! I know we both are always on the lookout for great tasting recipes and with the heaps and mounds of recipes on the internet, what better way to find those amazing "keepers" then this!?
**Who are we?!**
Lynnette is a stay at home mommy of one adorable little girl! Her hubby is in the military who loves to taste test her amazing creations. They have 3 furry dog children who I am sure are just as eager to taste test as well! She is the "Baker!" The go-to-girl for anything sweet and delicious!
I am a stay at home mommy to 2 pampered pooches... haha just kidding! But at the moment, I dont have a job due to just moving here! I live in North Carolina with my amazing taste testing man, Brian, who has definitely tried some "science experiments" I have made! ha! Our two wonderful dogs love my cooking as well... but then again they'll eat anything! I'm just thrilled to break my new kitchen in!! yay!
What will you need on a week to week basis to follow along with the recipes??
Well, we will put a grocery shopping list up for each of the recipes we will be cooking! We will also include the sites in which we got them off of for our "favorites" run down! You can cook along with us or wait to see what the verdict is... either way, we are getting to the bottom of what are the best recipes on the internet! Ratings or no ratings, we are trying any and everything out there! Buckle up because this may be a very rocky road! haha!
Duration-- 2 dinners, 2 times a week, 4 weeks a month!
Are yall ready?!?! LET THE COOKING BEGIN!!!
