Dinner 2 Shopping list

Well, since this week has just flown by, I suppose we should post the shopping list for Dinner 2! :)

We are making Chicken Pot Pies!
:) ~ Brian's favorite!
You will need the following ingredients:

1 12 oz bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 to 2 chicken breast 
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
Original Bisquick® mix
milk 
1 egg

You will also need:
1 mixing bowl
1 casserole dish

For Dessert we will be making Whoopie Pies! : )
This recipe is rated as an intermediate level.. But I have faith, We can do it!! .. :)
*  Tip – Do not overcook your cookies!!


For this recipe you will need the following:
2 large baking sheets
Parchment Paper
microwave safe bowl
2 large mixing bowls1 medium mixing bowl - for icing




1 ounce semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 ounce milk chocolate, chopped
12 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup sour cream
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon red food coloring
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 vanilla bean, halved lengthwise and seeds scraped

  1. My mother in law made the red velvet whoopie pies for my b-day (my most favorite cake)and I thought they were GREAT!! Good luck with them girls and can't wait to hear how they turn out.
